The American Fork Amphitheater is located walking distance from the temple. The address is 851 E. 700 N. in American Fork. There aren't picnic tables or playground equipment, but it's definitely a "don't miss" if you are in the area. If you're bringing your kids, be aware that there may be wedding receptions scheduled. Just call ahead (801-763-3081) or be prepared to come back another day. There are amazing spots just perfect for picture taking. The day we were there, there was a couple having their engagement photo's taken. I could have stayed there for hours because it was so peaceful and beautiful. My 7-year old niece took off and played in the trees and bushes surrounding the open spaces, and she didn't want to leave. My 16-year old niece took lots of pictures with her cell phone, and it was a hit with her as well.
